Content strategy for Starbucks

SDRC Content Strategy screenshot

While working at Starbucks, I completed my final assignment for the second class in my content strategy certificate, “The UX of Content Strategy.” I analyzed the Store Development Resource Center (SDRC), a repository for information used by employees and vendors throughout the Store Development division. It’s a diverse team that includes the Design, Construction, Real Estate, and Facilities functional groups, as well as General Contractors and Architects of Record.

I performed a content audit and evaluated existing content against four heuristics: consistency, structure, completeness, and navigation. I highlighted low-scoring pages as priority items, mapped user goals to existing topics, and made recommendations with navigation options, governance, KPIs and a scorecard, and a project timeline.
